Here are some answers to our most frequently asked questions from last year's event...

  • Can I come if I am under 21?

    • No. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted - no exceptions.

    • This includes babies and children (even if they are strapped to you).

  • What if I forget my ID?

    • ID will be checked prior to admittance.

    • No ID = No admittance - no exceptions.

  • What is the difference between General Admission, VIP, and Designated Driver tickets?

    • General Admission

      • Includes admission to the event on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 12pm-4pm and a tasting glass.

    • VIP

      • Access to VIP and Sponsor party Friday, September 13th, 2024 from 6pm to 9pm.

      • Complimentary Drinks and Dinner

      • Early entry day of event.

    • Designated Driver

      • GA DD - Includes admission to the event on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 11am-4pm and the peace of mind that your friends and loved ones will make it home safe.

      • Friday Night DD

        • Access to VIP and Sponsor party Friday, September 14th, 2024.

  • Can tickets be purchased the day of the event?

    • Yes, IF the event is not already sold out - don't wait until the last minute like last year!

    • All ticket sales will be through EventBrite - no exceptions.

  • How do I get there?

  • How do I get home?

    • Transportation may be provided by a third-party service. Details coming soon.

    • Bring a designated driver!

    • Have your child, of driving age, drop you off and pick you up; let them see what it is like to play chauffeur.

  • What about parking in downtown West Jefferson the day of the event?

    • We encourage friends to carpool, and of course, have arrangements to get safely home after the event.

    • There is lots of parking in downtown West Jefferson and, as always, parking in downtown WJ is always free!

  • What MUST I bring with me?

    • Valid photo ID

    • Ticket

  • What CAN I bring with me?

    • Folding chair for listening to music in front of he stage.

    • Bottled water - we will also have complimentary bottled water and soda provided for you during the event.

    • Rain jacket and/or umbrella - this event is rain or shine!

    • Pretzel necklace.

  • What am I NOT allowed to bring?

    • Coolers.

    • Mugs or other drinking vessels.

    • Food or beverages of any kind EXCEPT for bottled water or pretzel necklaces.

    • Anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions!

  • Will there be food?

    • YES! There will be food trucks and other food vendors available for you to choose from.

  • Can I smoke at the event?

    • Yes. A designated smoking area will be provided.

  • Where do the proceeds go?

    • Proceeds go to support Shoes for Kids - an Ashe County charity that provides new shoes to children in need.

  • Are pets allowed?

    • Well behaved pets on a leash are welcome.
